Then there was "Woodbine Willy",
who also lived top o` town, in a house all the rooms
of which he had papered entirely of Woodbine cigarette
packets, having smoked the entire contents himself.
For this remarkable feat a representative
from a well-known tobacco manufacturer arranged to reward
Willy for his loyalty to the weed and arrived at his
humble home somewhere behind the church, bearing a cheque
and accompanied by a press agent to record the ceremony.
Unfortunately, they found
that poor Willy had suddenly stopped smoking on account
of having died the day before, something apparently
having been wrong with his lungs.
